Photography is one of those things you often don't know you need until it's too late. Hi, I'm Sandi and I learned this lesson 10 years ago when I unexpectedly lost my dad to a massive heart attack. The photographs I took of my dad, just prior to his death, helped both myself and my family get through the grief process.
I'm a mom of three and wife to a man who only smiled for one of our wedding photos. I get it. Photoshoots aren't always that appetizing to your family but I promise I'll make it easy.
From start to finish, I'll be right by your side, answering questions, helping you pick shoot locations, or even making clothing suggestions. This is not a hard process - in fact, you may just have a little fun - I PROMISE!
When I had my first kiddo, I promptly took her to Sears Portrait Studio for her first month photos. When I got home, my dad told me it looked like post mortem photography. My mommy goggles refused to allow me to agree with my dad, but now looking back - he was absolutely right.
I took my daughter in every month to get mediocre photos. The session was rushed and high pressure. "If you don't purchase these sheets of images, I'm going to throw your memories in the dirty dumpster." That sentence always made me buy everything, even if it was junk.
When my middle son was born, we went quarterly and then this dropped to once a year upon the birth of my last kiddo. It was then I bought my first "big girl" camera, and never looked back.
