My name is Sandi Petersen and I’m a wife, mom and photographer. I also herd cats for my normal job – but that’s a whole other story.
I bought my first camera (Canon Rebel xTi) 11 years ago when my youngest was born and money was tight. I couldn’t afford to get nice quality photos of my three kiddos so I decided to teach myself how to use a fancy camera.
During the past 10 years I’ve taken numerous classes, bought new equipment and practiced, practiced, practiced – much to the dismay of my family. I also started a photography project called Pay It Forward Photography, after the unexpected and sudden loss of my dad in 2014. This has allowed me to shoot over 100 families and give back to a bunch of charitable organizations.
Photography has always been my passion and favorite hobby and I’m excited to share it as a business. I will still run my Pay It Forward Photography project on the side, as I feel everyone should be able to have good, quality photos of their loved ones. However, if you’d like a more personalized touch and a lot more excellent photos, consider booking a session with me. I can’t wait to hear from you!
